Q: What safety precautions are you taking to mitigate the spread of COVID-19?

A: Please see protocols below:

 

Currently, we are keeping our door locked and admitting guests by appointment only.

 

Guests must wait in their car or outside until their service provider has a fully sanitized station/room ready for them.

 

At check in, we are taking all of our guests’ temperatures and asking a few health screening questions. (Our team undergoes the same procedure at the start of each shift.) We ask that every guest sanitize their hands upon entering or use our hand wash station in our nail area prior to their service. All guests and employees are required to wear masks at all times.

 

***(The only exception to masking is for a massage, waxing or facial service that requires the removal of the mask. In that circumstance, our estheticians are wearing additional PPE during those services. When a guest is face down for massage, our massage therapist has created a temporary barrier that is changed for each guest so guests may remove their masks for comfort.)

 

No guests or employees are admitted in with a temperature of 99.5 or higher or if they are experiencing symptoms. If you arrive with a temperature higher than 99.5, we will ask you to please reschedule your appointment. We are reminding guests that in the heat of summer months to arrive on time for appointments, not early, and to keep their A/C on in their cars if they have to wait to enter the building.

 

In salon/spa, we follow a specific sanitation protocol throughout the facility every 2 hours per current health department regulations, or more often as needed.

 

Every service provider’s work area is fully sanitized between every guest.

 

No food or drink is permitted in the salon or spa at this time.

Q: Do you take walk-in or call-in appointments?

A: Our talented service providers are typically committed to guests weeks in advance. We try to accommodate walk-in or call-in appointments as often as we can, but the best way to secure an appointment is to reserve in advance. Per current Anne Arundel County (COVID) regulations, we are currently serving our guests By Appointment Only.

Q: Are you taking new guests?

A: We love new guests!  Referrals are the best compliment our service providers can receive, and we love sharing our passion and commitment with guests who are new to the Escapee family.

Q: Can I bring my child to my appointments?

A: We ask that children visit ONLY as guests for their safety and comfort, as well as the comfort of all our guests. If they are not receiving a service, kindly make arrangements for their care.

Q: Am I allowed to bring my animals to the salon or spa for my appointments?

A: No. Please see: MD Board of Cosmetology regulations [09.22.02.03] The following activities are prohibited in any full service or limited practice salon or in regard to any salon-sponsored services: "the presence of a dog, cat, bird or any kind of animal on the salon premises with the exception of guide dogs for the blind," and they must show a registration card

Emotional Support Animals (ESA's) are not allowed access at this time.

Q: Do you offer gift cards?

A: Yes! An Emidio Vincenzo Escape gift card is a great way to give the gift of self care.

Q: What forms of payment do you accept?

A: At this time, we are accepting VISA, MasterCard, and Discover credit cards for contactless forms of payment. We are also currently partnered with Spafinder/SpaWish. Spafinder/SpaWish cards must be presented to Front Desk Associate prior to your service. We cannot accept gratuities on Spafinder/SpaWish cards.
